Kentucky Wedding Weekend

Last week, my friends Anna and Luke got hitched in a private ceremony in Louisville, KY! I made the trip there with my Mom to celebrate with them and explore Louisville a bit more. We had a blast! Here are just a few of the highlights (naturally, the celebrating with the happy couple was THE highlight):

Aren’t they just so cute? Happy one week anniversary Anna & Luke!

Around Louisville

Before the reception, Mom and I took some time to explore the great city of Louisville. Our first stop was the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. The process of making the baseball bats is actually pretty cool, and there are some amazing pieces of baseball history to see and touch in the museum.

We also had fun just walking and driving around downtown to see what else the city has in store. Here are a few photos from our excursions.

For our last stop on our way home, we decided to take an exit for a gas station. To our surprise, the gas station had long-since closed, and the whole area seemed abandoned. That said, it was a cool place to stretch and get some photos of the windmills.

p.s. I’ve had a few folks ask what I wore to the wedding reception, so here are the details:

Dress, Shoes, Nails, & Earrings
