Kelly Osbourne. Yes, that’s right. It’s just been announced that Kelly is releasing a new clothing line to be sold on HSN. She is calling the line “Stories Kelly Osbourne,” and as you’ll see, it’s very Brit-inspired. The line will range from US size 0 to size 24. I think this is going to be spectacular, and that we will be seeing a LOT more work from Kelly.
“My mission is not to be the number-one fashion designer in the world. I’m not trying to change or come up with anything that people haven’t already done. I’m just trying to make fashion fair and make good quality basics available to all women.”
Lane Bryant (man, are they on a roll lately) just announced that designer Lela Rose will teaming up with them to create a plus size line of boldly-printed pieces to work seamlessly from day to evening. The bad news? We’ll have to wait until next Summer to see it, but as far as I can tell, it will be worth the wait! This sketch kind of makes me giddy- don’t judge. The line starts at size 14, and will be available in select stores when it rolls out next Summer.
Is it normal to be this excited about a sketch of a dress that won’t be available for a year? Probably not, but I am. I love the concept of vibrant, versatile designer pieces.
Which line are you most excited about? Do you love the idea of both lines? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Also, is there one designer in particular you wish would release a plus size line? I’m so curious to know!
